| La Cidrerie du Minot In Hemmingford, you will find La Cidrerie du Minot, the first artisanal cider producer of Quebec. Joëlle and Robert Demoy chose these 51 hectares of land at the foothills of the Adirondacks for its microclimat, its soil and apple varieties. Stemming from several generations of cider producers, these Bretons use different processes to make a variety of sparkling and non-sparkling ciders. As a result, they have won numerous prices. To name but a few: "Crémant de pomme du Minot" won as "Best cider of Quebec" and "Domaine du Minot", "La Bolée" and "Le Minot Doré" won gold, silver and bronze medals at international competitions. Before leaving, you must participate in a cider-tasting commented by your hosts. La cidrerie du Minot is in full effervescence from May 15 to October 25. 7 days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For the remainder of the year, please call before visiting.
